目的
The Lindenwood University 总统’s Council (LUPC) serves as a sounding board for Lindenwood University’s leadership and is comprised of professionals, 校友, and community leaders. Each member serves as a public-facing resource for all aspects of the University and assists with philanthropic and social contributions.
The Council is primarily focused on the University’s strategic engagement initiative, Destination Lindenwood, supporting a college town feel and experience. The Council is a non-governance group with no official decision-making authority.

The Council is comprised of key volunteers and University leadership. It includes the University 总统, Council Chair(s), and the Vice 总统 for Advancement and Community Engagement. 除了, the Council will include at-large members and members representing the 总统’s Cabinet, Lindenwood academic colleges, and other statewide, 国家, and inter国家 constituencies.
- Council members are asked to commit to a three-year term that can be renewable for a second three-year term.
- Council members serve in a volunteer capacity.
- Council members are appointed to chair sub-committees such as Community Relations, University Communications and Marketing, University 金融, Strategic Planning, and others as deemed appropriate by the Council Chair(s), and the University 总统.
- The Council is hyper-focused on civic engagement for philanthropic and community partnerships for the University.
- Governance and operations of the University are not areas of Lindenwood where the Council provides support or insight.
- The Council meets quarterly. Conference calls supplement scheduled meetings.
- The Executive Assistant to the 总统 serves as the Council’s lead support, assisted by the Administrative Assistant, Office of the 总统 who serves as the Council lead back-up. The 总统 may appoint other staff as appropriate.
