All Lindenwood students are required to complete at least one mathematics course during their course of study. Placement into a mathematics course is determined by a student’s graduating high school GPA, high school and/or college mathematics coursework, and individual mathematics score achieved on the ACT or SAT. Students transferring mathematics credits could be waived from their mathematics requirements if the course aligns with their degree’s mathematics requirements. If the transferred course does not satisfy their degree requirement, that individual will be placed in the appropriate mathematics course determined by that of the most recent mathematics course they successfully completed. Students with questions about their mathematics placement should contact their advisor.
